How to check for Verification on your Student Aid Report (SAR)

Sign into your account

Make sure you have completed your ' 2021-2022 ' application

Scroll down until you see ' View or Print Your Student Aid Report (SAR) '

Look for your EFC.

If there is a star (*) next to the number you have been selected for verification.

College Portal

How to check for Verification through your college portal.

  • Sign into your student portal

  • Find the Financial Aid tab or page

    • Look for a checklist or To-Do list

    • On this list the school will notify you what documents they need​

      • Dependent Verification Form​

      • Household Size

      • Parent Tax Transcript

      • Student Tax Transcript

      • Non-filer Letter

      • W-2

      • Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA

Important: Contact your adviser if you are verified. They can answer questions about the different documents, or help you properly fill out the forms.
